Great views, great service, great food. La Bastide!!!

I went with my husband for our anniversary and had one of the most pleasant dining experiences ever. The Inn was cozy and quaint. We had a fireside table which was perfect with the cold temp outside. The wait staff was very attentive. I let our server know I am vegetarian and the chef prepared me a delicious dish that wasn't on the menu. He even came out with the dish to describe it to me so I would know what he prepared. My husband got a beef tenderloin that was wonderful as well. I would recommend La Bastide to everyone and will gladly return.

We (my wife and I) have just attended an event this past weekend at La Bastide and found the accommodations, food, service and scenery spectacular. The menu was to say at the least very unusual, and extremely tasty. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a interesting and pleasurable dining experience.

I HAVE DINED HERE ONCE AND NEVER AGAIN. FODD AND SERVICE VERY POOR. PRICES DEFINATELY OVER THE LIMIT. DON'T WASTE THE DRIVE, EAT IN GREENVILLE. THIS PLACE TRIED, BUT HAS FAILED TO MEET IT'S HIGH EXPECTATIONS.

My wife and I ate at La Bastide Valentines Day one year ago. It was no question, the best meal I've ever eaten. The service was second to none, and the food first class. We had a 5 course meal with 5 wine samplings with each entree. The French Cottage atmosphere magnified the already terrific meal. Truly first class and a special venue for Greenville County. We can claim that we certainly have a "Five Star" getaway for meals and lodging with La Bastide. A must for that "special" occasion, you will not believe the quaint rooms available with varying French architecture. I should note that my wife and I had our honeymoon in Napa Valley, California and ate at the renowned Abererge Restaurant, a hyped and frequented restaurant for the stars. In all honesty it didn't match the experience at La Bastide right here in Greenville. So bring your wallet, and prepare to drop a few hundred, but you won't regret the experience, truly phenomenal!!!
