Sucker every minute
You can dress up a pig, but it is stil a pig. Good food, but way TOO expensive. Spent well over $100 on simple fettucine and shrimp and a piece of failrly cooked cod???
Walk right across the street to Trios for good italian food at a fair price!

We visit Greenville a lot because we own Broadway series tickets. (live in Aiken) Had dinner at Bergamo's for the first time on 2/6/09. A simple fettucini dish ($10) had the best pomodoro sauce I've ever eaten and my husband was blown away by the pink peppercorn sauce over his charr fish dinner. Our waitress was knowledgeable of menu/preparation and was a doll. Bergamo's will be on our short list for future visits. I don't get the other reviews at all. Would love to have the pomodoro sauce recipe !

This place is way over priced and I've never had a real "Italian" dish in here. Servers are inexperienced and hang onto your belongings....they seem to 'disappear'.

Very nice place to dine. The lamb is great as well as the service. The owner is the chef and cooks authenic Italian fare.

One of my favorite downtown Greenville restaurant's. Upscale Italian. One of downtown Greenville's better established places. A little on the expensive side. Portions usually on the small side. But the service has always been good and the food, particularly the veal, is always quality. I have enjoyed meals with my wife and business associates without disappointment. A nice place to be for enjoying downtown. Tables along the window areas are nice for people watching. Some have said it reminds them of some of the fine Italian restaurants of New York. Save room for dessert.
