PELHAM ROAD.   Although it began with a focus on pizzas (and still serves excellent pies, like a four-cheese version and a shrimp-and-artichoke mix), Coal Fired has expanded into broader Italian fare and kicked things up with a subtle French inflection. At dinner, for example, grilled lamb chops and osso bucco are classics, and chicken marsala, along with pastas and risottos, showcase deep layers of flavor. Appetizers are similarly rich and make perfect companions to Coal Fired's wide selection of wines. Try them by the sip or glass, courtesy of their Italian serving system, which lets you help yourself automatically with the aid of a debit card that you load as you wish.   (© 10Best)

Give me a break
My wife and I had dinner there last night and won't be back. They must think they are in NYC with their wine prices. This is a souped up restaurant in a small ratty strip mall. Their food is OK and the service is slow and inconsistent. Not worth your time or your $$$.

Amazing Food
I've been to Coal Fired several times for lunch & dinner. It is ALWAYS amazing. I try something different everytime I go & the food is consistently great. Chef Carlos Echeverri is an artist. I recommend it to all my friends.

Average at best
Overpriced for the portions...service is OK but not what you expect for the prices. Inside looks good but the ambience is lost with a strip mall restaurant. Wine prices are way out of line for similar type establishments.
