Worst Experience I have had so far in the Downtown Area. I was told by a friend that they had the best burgers in town. The use the same frozen patties like everyone else. Tea was sour which usually means it's old or from the day before. Chip were out of date. Service was horrible. Guess I will just keep eating at the other 30 restaurants in the West End

I have tried this place a couple of times, but they just can't seem to get it right. I had the Blackened Burger. Burnt, lettuce wasn't crisp, etc. Chips, drink, meal kind of pricey for lunch. Don't waste your time.

Best burgers in town, rivaled only by Red Robin. Get the bacon and provolone burger and prepare for a taste sensation.

Have lunch there often. The food is fast and good. The price is as about as average as any other restaurant. They have quite the range of options. Light meals, heavy meals, soups, salads, wraps, and burgers. Also serve beer and wine. It has such a laid-back feel, serve yourself type of place. The staff really makes you feel at home. I have also used them as caterers. Not only are they on time, the food is always excellent. Worth the trip to anyone.

This may be the worst dining experience in all of Downtown. I have been a few times with friends and the only consistent thing is that this place is horrible. Thank God my partner always pays. Their "Famous" chicken salad was bland and lukewarm. They always run out of tea. Silverware was filthy.

My assistant recommended their services for catering. I was encouraged to see a different restaurant than our normal few. We ordered a hot lunch buffet for around 20 or so. To start off they were late setting up which pushed us back for our deposition. The cups were styrofoam and had something that looked like pet hair and dirt. The forks were spotted, napkins were filthy, hot units had previous dried lunch on them. Food was bland, more sauce than meat. Chicken was raw and tea tasted sour. Cookies tasted like the ones my wife likes to buy at the store. Overall myself and partners were very disappointed. Caterer disturbed our meeting and informed us that he had to get back. He spilled water all over the place and scratched our conference table. Asked to speak with the owner and he told me he was the catering manager and the owner was on extended vacation. The first and the last time we will ever use them.

Had lunch their and with a group of friends the other day. Friends told me about this great little hole in the wall. They price gouge you on everything. Sandwich, drink, chips, and cookie was over $13. Cash register person was picking his nose, kitchen help were cursing at each other, and the servers were outside smoking while there was a line with dirty tables. I asked the server where the tea was and he told me "Can't you see it's right there". Definitely not a place I would bring any of my partners to. Bathrooms were dirty and kitchen floors had scraps of meat all over the place.

You place your order at the counter and they give you a number and bring you your food. It is always crowded mainly because you can sit outside at tables with umbrellas. The food is just sub-par. I have been several times and the best thing I have ever gotten (still not great) is the hamburger wrap. I never suggest going here, but I don't oppose going with friends who want to eat at Saffron.

The food is wonderful. The service is friendly and fast. A great place for lunch when you have limited time. We have been to several parties that were catered by Saffron's and we were pleasantly surprised with the look and taste of the food. Best catering available in Greenville.

Really one of the worst visits to any restaurant... Rude man when I placed my order! Burned bacon on my sandwich... No one cared. My friend had the quiche, and it was terrible! Dirty bathroom!No tea available and had to wait to have it made. Also, for the price, you would think they would pick up the dirty dishes.

Saffron's basically rocks! The people are so nice and the food delivers! I recommend the chicken salad wrap – best in town!
