5. Overlook Grill

The meal that I had was very disappointing, especially for the price I paid for it. The atmosphere and service were good. I'll just have to try it another time to see if it improves.

My mom and I were disappointed in the quality of our meal. My pimento cheese seemed to be straight from Bilo's. (not even Fresh Market) My mom's special had shell in it from the crab (?) or other shellfish. We enjoyed eating outside looking over the falls.

My parents came up for the weekend and I thought it would be nice to take them to Overlook Grill since the menu looked great online. It was definately not what we expected. Our waitress was great but the food was a different story. It took us an hour for our food to arrive. My husband ordered fried flounder, oysters, and shrimp which looked and tasted like something McDonald's would serve. My dad ordered baked chicken with shrimp and the shrimp were still raw. Needless to say I was very embarrassed to have taken them to Overlook Grill for dinner.
