5. Frodo's Pizza

SOUTH PLEASANTBURG.   This hometown pizza parlor finds abundant favor with local folks, who rave about its Chicago-style pies. Occupying a former house, Frodo's is intimate and dim with a pub-like atmosphere. It's also pretty noisy, thanks to an open kitchen, video games, and the presence of many families, who camp out with little ones on an assortment of tables and booths. Pizzas come in four sizes, from 6 to 15 inches, and include the Southwest, the Mediterranean, the Five Veggie, the BBQ Chicken and the BLT. You can also spec your own.
