WOODRUFF ROAD.   With a reputation built on quality goods, Strossner's has been Greenville's most renowned bakery since 1947. From a pale building marked by blue and white awnings comes a host of delectable treats, including cakes, pies, cookies, candies and sweet breads. The Italian cream cake, tinged with amaretto and slathered with rich frosting, is immensely popular, as are Strossner's pastries, which are found at business meetings throughout Greenville. Ideal for the sweet tooth in all of us. Best cookies/cakes/candies I have ever eaten. Must try orange cake or oatmeal cream cookie or... just try everything. Excellent!
