WEST END.   This intimate little spot on Augusta Street (near Fluor Field at the West End) packs 'em in tightly once the sun goes down, and this is especially true on Friday and Saturday nights. The interior decor pays homage to music of all types, from the guitar-shaped design of the bar to the various framed posters adorning the walls. Great (and free) live music is a big draw, as is the beer list. From standard domestics to hard-to-find craft brews, there are plenty of tasty options. In the mood for something different? Try one of the creative coffee concoctions or martinis. Smiley's also serves up a variety of appetizers, gourmet salads and sandwiches, and even a few hot entrées that are all fresh and homemade.   (© 10Best)

good times to be had by all... I always have a blast there! The bar is always packed with a variety of people from business men and women in suits, college aged music seekers, to eclectic hippie types, and everyone in-between. The live music nightly always soothes the soul, the decor is colorful and bluesy, and the back porch is the perfect place to sit in the summertime and enjoy a cold brew!
