WEST END.   Most times, folks think of barbecue in conjunction with small, no-frills eateries. Smoke on the Water quickly dispels that perception. The upscale restaurant is as serious about ambience as it is about barbecue. Quietly elegant, it's a great place for lunch or dinner, especially when you factor in perfectly cooked beef brisket, pulled pork, baby back ribs, prime rib, or beer-butt chicken. To please all tastes, a variety of zesty sauces can be had – tomato-, mustard-, or vinegar-based. Add in fresh greens and warm fruit cobbler, and your lips will be smacking in no time! Excellent meal. My wife and I both enjoyed this. Our appetizer, potato skins, was excellent and dinner was great as well. We will be frequenting Smoke on the Water. It's a very nice atmosphere and excellent food at reasonable prices.

sat at bar. ambience was good. started off with a fantastic spicy bloody mary and the best deviled eggs. then some wonderful pulled pork and vegetables. finished with some heavenly chocolate mousse. will recommend.

My husband and I went there for a "date night" and I can't say enough good things about them. We started our meal with the best pimento cheese I've ever tasted. We each ordered the choose 2 plates and sampled off each others plates. Portions were HUGE and the food was delicious! My favorite part of the meal though was the squash casserole (it was too die for)! I would highly recommend this place.
