Sometimes you have to work for something good, and with Wise's, the drive is the price you'll pay for incredible barbecue. Located between Clinton and Newberry, it's a distance from Greenville, but the mustard-based sauce and tender meat are worth the effort.   (© 10Best)

I drive from Greenville to Wise's at least twice a month because you cannot find any better BBQ then you will find at Wise's.

Limited selection but excellent value. Where on earth can you get all you can eat ribs, chicken, pulled pork & hash etc for $6.25?
