DOWNTOWN. Recent renovations have restored this elegant timepiece to its 1920s grandeur, while providing state of the art technology and modern conveniences. The understated lobby shines with splendor. Two ballrooms have 24-foot ceilings with the original decorative plaster work, crystal chandeliers and marble work having been restored. The 200 guest rooms (including 19 suites) feature Westin's "Heavenly Bed," with a custom-designed pillow-top mattress topped by a plush, down comforter. Rooms have two dual-line phones and high speed Internet access. The Westin Poinsett is within easy walking distance of the Peace Center for the Performing Arts, downtown restaurants and office buildings.

SIMPSONVILLE. This magnificent Georgian inn with its wooded setting, brings a note of bygone grace to Simpsonville. The interiors are a study in refinement and elegance, complete with crystal chandeliers, delicate moldings and traditional decor.
