BELLE HAVEN.   This establishment is named after the chef-owner, Thomas Henkelmann, and is a true Greenwich favorite. Before the meal, diners can enjoy a few cocktails in the relaxing lounge. The dining room emits an inviting ambience with its elegant yet comfortable décor. Antique furnishings are accented with beautiful flower arrangements and baskets filled with fresh fruits. Menu selections feature a number of mouth-watering selections, including fricassée of Maine lobster on tricolor fettuccine. Sunday dinner is available in December.   (© 10Best)

Zagat: "Once again, chef Thomas Henkelmann and his wife Theresa achieve the "peak of perfection" with their "truly exceptional" french restaurant... NYTimes: 2006 had special meaning for me because it was the first time in 30 years of reviewing that I awarded an Extraordinary accolade. The recipient was Thomas Henkelmann at Homestead Inn in Greenwich . The cuisine is sophisticated country French with virtually everything made from scratch; the wine list is excellent; the service is flawless; and the atmosphere is charming.
