DOWNTOWN.
A lovely covered patio flanks this harborside restaurant, and a rustic French fireplace and terracotta floor accent the tasteful interior. Inspired by the flavors of Provence, the menu offers wonders such as potato-crusted seabass with haricot vert and champagne truffle sauce. Outfitted with an oak and pewter bar and charming decor, the adjacent lounge features specialty cocktails (cleverly named after the seven heavenly virtues), champagne and more. Live jazz on Friday nights.

Such a disappointment
We were a party of 6 for my mother's birthday. The evening started off with some very good bread - unfortunately, we were never offered any more than the 1 piece until we begged for some more an hour into our meal. The waitress then spilled a drink on my sister - at first denied the spilling while we were sopping it up - and then said "Oh, it's OK, no need to get you another I'll just pour this into your glass" - At these prices I would expect a little more professionalism in service, this was really insulting. They did have a good prix fixe menue - unfortunately, although you ordered dessert 1 hour before you expected it to be served - it took a total of 1 1/2 hours before it made an appearance, and by then, the other people at our table who had ordered dessert off of the menu had already finished theirs. I would expect again, from a resturant that charges these prices, to have a better plan in service (and no - the place was not crowded - I would say about 40 percent filled on a Monday night in July). I decided to mention these things to the manager but could not find one. The woman at the desk listened to my concerns and said "I hope you let us make it up to you in the future" - unfortunately she didn't seem inclined to take any steps in following up - she didn't ask for our names, or any contact information to actually make her question come to fruition.
With all the great places to eat and spend money, there is no reason to come here to spend your time and money - there are just too many other places more deserving. What a shame - my family members liked this place, and now - not so much. Oh and the food - some of it was good, and some of it was really just fair - and why pay $30.00 for a salty piece of fish.
