RIP - Just passed it this weekend and it's gone by the by.

Beautiful store with very expensive children's clothing; the sales help needs some serious grooming though. They are neither friendly nor knowledgeable. When I ordered items over the phone to be sent as gifts, I never received a receipt in the mail and after more than three phone calls (none of which was ever returned by the "manager", I just gave up. I am still not sure if everything I ordered was sent. Also, I ordered several items at a trunk show where as it turned out, nothing was in stock. After many weeks, I called to check on my order (it was already past due) and was told that it would all arrive in time for Christmas. In fact, it never arrived and I was again told (after hunting down the salesperson) that the items were out of stock and they had no idea if they were going to receive them at all. In fact they had them in the store and also in their store at Bergdorf Goodman. All in all, a completely unsatisfactory experience for which I am sure they have no apology.
