6. McNabs Island Ferry

For some outdoor enjoyment, head to the rather desolate McNabs island that's situated near the harbor and offers miles of wooded roads and trails and plenty of opportunities for bird watching. Great views of the city and the area's popular Point Pleasant are also afforded at various outlooks on the island. The island used to serve as a military outpost and housed Fort McNab.
