10. Spring Garden Road

Spring Garden Road is home to a bevy of small to mid-sized shopping centers. Park Lane, City Centre Atlantic and Spring Garden Place are three popular shopping centers along this commercial road. Small boutiques and chain retailers line the road, linking the various centers, making this Halifax's shopping mile. Less than ten blocks long, but packed full of character, interesting and quirky shops and restaurants, and history to boot. Don't miss the side streets either.

Too pricey. Other shops in the city have the same stuff at lower prices. Check the malls.
