6. Historic Properties

The buildings of the Historic Properties area date back to the late 1700s, boasting 10 of the city's oldest structures, with 7 making the register of National Historic Sites. These buildings were former warehouses serving the thriving seafaring way of life that dominated Halifax in the early 1800s. Tucked along the lovely Halifax waterfront, these historic treasures now make the ideal home for a premier shopping and dining destination. Over priced. Anything you find there you can find elsewhere in metro at a lower price.
