10. West Lake

West Lake is the premier sightseeing destination in Hangzhou. Its waters and vast expanse of shoreline provide plenty of diversionary interests, from exploring the ancient Buddhist temple, Lingyin Temple, to visiting the Peak That Flew From Afar, Buddhist carvings on the side of a hill. Natural beauty, historic landmarks and cultural sites combine to provide the perfect destination.
