5. National Silk Museum

A staple of China, silk represents the livelihood and culture of this enterprising nation, and the National Silk Museum ably presents a variety of aspects of this product that is part of the very fabric of China. Guests can stroll through eight different exhibition areas that cover such topics as ancient customs, dyeing, weaving and modern methods of silk production.
