The Connecticut Historical Society is a non-profit museum, library, and education center that specializes in history and genealogy. The museum collection includes an in-depth repertoire of prints, photographs, and artifacts. Among the artifacts are 17th and 18th century furniture, costumes, needlework, portraits, landscapes, tavern and trade signs, Native American baskets, decorative arts, toys, and tools.
