Located along the Provo River, this state park is one of Utah's newest, and the reservoir is one of the state's most recently constructed. Two separate facilities comprise the park, Hailstone and Rock Cliff. The first has RV and tent camping, playground, store, restaurant, marinas, and day use areas. The second, which is more nature-oriented, offers a visitors center, tent camping only, and two pavilions for group activities. Visitors who come to get a taste of nature enjoy the abundance of water sports, which include boating, water-skiing, swimming and fishing. Along the shore, picnicking, hiking and mountain-biking are also available.
