MIDWAY. This state park, located at the base of Mount Timpanogos, takes in a large portion of Deer Creek Reservoir. The lake offers a host of water sports, including sailing, windsurfing, and water-skiing. Fishermen also love it for the abundance of trout, bass, and perch that populate the waters. Boat ramps provide access to the lake, and rentals are available. If you just want to laze on the shore, a small beach welcomes visitors, along with a series of day use areas. You'll also find facilities for tent and RV camping, along with showers and a restaurant.
