SAUTEE NACOOCHEE.   This local arts and heritage center is a great source of information on Helen and the region. It presents arts and crafts shows and cultural programs, and the history museum showcases regional artifacts and changing exhibits. Plus, an on-site art gallery boasts a range of works for display and for sale. The events calendar highlights monthly folk music and chorale concerts, theatre productions, and children's plays. I really enjoyed the Sautee Nacoochee Center, it's a great place to catch some local art work. Sautee itself is a so pleasant and tons of places to enjoy your day.
