4. High Shoals Scenic Area and Falls

Just off the Unicoi Turnpike (Highway 17/75), this section of the Georgia Mountains presents a number of beautiful vistas, landscapes and waterfalls, but reaching most of them requires an adventurous spirit and the willingness to do some hiking. Among the more scenic spots accessible from High Shoals' designated parking area are High Shoals Creek Falls and Blue Hole Falls, both of which have observation areas. As you walk the rhododendron-guarded trails, keep your eyes and ears alert – you might just get a chance to spot one or two of the critters who call High Shoals "home."   (© 10Best)

High Shoals Scenic Area and Falls We had so much fun at this falls, it is beautiful and a great place to play in the water.
