HICKORY.   Adjacent to L.P. Frans Stadium (home of the Crawdads), this park offers lots of play opportunity for both families and young folks. Picnicking sites conveniently feature tables and grills, and horseshoe pits provide the chance for some active competition. Walking and jogging trails let you take advantage of warm weather, and playground equipment makes it easy to let kids exert themselves in a safe, confined space.
