1. Hickory Alive!

The Buzz -- Kick off the weekend at this summertime event, which takes advantage of balmy Southern weather and the talents of local bands. Beginning after work on Friday evenings, Hickory Alive! offers folks the chance to meet up with friends and colleagues, indulge in a cold beer, and down some munchies. Bands play everything from rock and soul to blues and Top 40. Kids have their own series of activities, and area shops invite browsing with extended hours.
