9. Vintage House

My wife and I ate here twice. The last time we spent over $120.00 with a $23.00 tip. No alcoholic drinks in this price, only soft drinks. This is the most overprice place in Hickory. For $40.00+ we could have had much better food at Tripps. How this place stays open is a mystery to me.

Wonderful service, very good food. Be careful with the specials. They are chef's specials, not necessarily by cost. If cost is an issue, ask. Price is very reasonable for the amount and type of food cooked. I've seen people walk in off the streets in shorts and the staff treated them as well as the one's dressed to the nines. I've been going to this restaurant off and on for 24 years, menus and times change but the food is still good.
