7. Secession Golf Club

Overlooking the Intercoastal Waterway, this golf club is a tribute to tradition and heritage. The clubhouse features a full plantation-style porch lined with rocking chairs, and each hole is named for a Civil War battle. Natural barriers such as marsh and wind enhance the course's difficulty, and walking is required. Course designed by Bruce Devlin.   (© 10Best)
