This 650-acre preserve encompasses three freshwater lakes and boardwalk trails over stunning swamp and marshland. It is also home to the remains of a 4,000-year-old Native American village at the Indian Shell Ring. Guided tours are available, or pick up a map at one of the entrances and take a self-guided tour of the area. A driving entrance is located on Lawton Canal Road off Lawton Drive.
