CENTRAL.   The Annexx perfectly exemplifies the notion of "comfortably upscale." The space is contemporary and open, with stylish furnishings and a bar that just begs to be lounged in, preferably with a glass of wine. Most of the food is of the American-Continental variety, and everything is skillfully prepared. Standouts include crab cakes with smoked corn mayo and lemon slaw, Wagyu and pig trotter ragout, and truffled black cod with fondant and coconut lobster jus. If you're with a group, be sure to start with one of the appetizer platters – seafood, cheeses or cured meats. Twenty-four wines available by the glass or flight.   (© 10Best)
