7. Spring Moon

TSIM SHA TSUI.   Located inside one of Hong Kong's most famous hotels, the Peninsula, Spring Moon combines impressive pre-war Shanghai décor with some of the best Cantonese cuisine in the area in order to create a fairly elegant dining atmosphere. Among the delicacies served are shark's fin and fillet of garoupa, and, of course, roast goose and pigeon. Menu items change with the season, but the quality and presentation of the food always remain high. Spring Moon also offers an extensive selection of tea, served by professionally trained tea masters, as well as traditional desserts, like mango pudding. Reservations are strongly recommended.
