5. M at the Fringe

CENTRAL.   Located above the fashionable Fringe Theatre, M keeps with the artistic theme of its neighbor by sporting some rather artsy décor and furnishings, as well as a little live jazz on weekend nights. The food is a unique blend of Continental and Mid-Eastern cuisine. The eggplant platter is a delight that should not be missed, and Michelle's also serves up some superb vegetable platters, risotto and mussels, and caviar. Reservations are recommended.
