7. La Mariana Sailing Club

HONOLULU.   Secreted away near the airport, just off the water, this venerable establishment is a bit off the beaten path but well worth finding for its incredible ambience. Harkening back to past days, the place has a nautical, tropical feel, complete with shell accents, glass fishing floats, and wicker furnishings. It's a fabulous hideout if you want to dance outdoors beneath arching trees, enjoy a pianist's melodies, or sing along with regulars to time-tested island tunes.
