5. Don Ho's Island Grill

DOWNTOWN.   Tropical decor and memorabilia distinguish this restaurant and bar, which honors Honolulu-born entertainer Don Ho. Set on the water at Aloha Tower, the club enjoys a reputation for great views, tasty fare, and wonderful Hawaiian music. Played Sunday to Wednesday, the traditional stylings make a great accompaniment to mai tais and pupus (appetizers). Although the music schedule varies, you can always count on great tunes.
