6. La Mer

We have eaten at La Mer several times and always had the very best in food and service. While the servers wear a coat and tie, it is a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere. Not stuffy, but very attentive would describe the wonderful service we received. The views are unparalled. Miss Miller dancing the hula below, with Diamond head in the background make for an exceptional place to enjoy fabulous food.

Honolulu's Best
La Mer is more than a great restaurant, it is a dining experience. Not only is the food exquisite in it's preparation, but also in it's presentation and service. Combine all that with the incredible setting and views and it is easy to see why La Mer is a perennial favorite of locals and tourists alike. Last time I was there we split the Chef’s Assortment for an appetizer. I could have order two more for my main course, but I had the Roasted Goose for my entrée and it was cooked to perfection. The little touches throughout the service are part of what makes it so special.
