WAIKIKI.
Since it never closes, this coffee shop is a perpetual favorite with those looking for sustenance in the wee hours. Its relaxed ambience welcomes a laid-back crowd, and the all-day breakfast pulls in its share of satisfied patrons too. Ideal in the morning, the comforting aroma of bacon and eggs also appeals to diners looking for a late-night snack. Lunch and dinner are offered as well, and you'll find karaoke and live music in the cocktail lounge, come evening.

Affordable and delicious down-home diner style cooking, I can't think of a better place for an anytime meal in Waikiki. A bit dated, the menu size, low prices and great food more than make up for the decor. Some of my favourites are the War Won Ton with Min soup (everything but the kitchen sink), the local plate lunch favourite Loco Moco (fried eggs over burger patties, smothered in gravy with rice and macaroni salad) and surprisingly, their homemade muesli.
