6. Marfreless

A surprisingly romantic setting, its great for a first date. The outside of the building isn’t so architecturally stunning but don’t let the outside fool you! Its small inside but you have to tune everything/everybody out and create your own space. Great for lovey-dovey couples looking for a quiet place where they can make small talk; however, except to see some intimate moments.

Marfreless has great drinks...awesome bloody mary's, lemon drop martinis, etc.

This place is quaint and quiet and about as subtle as a boot to the head. If you're content with staying downstairs, the place is very small and you may feel crowded before you know it. If you are brave enough to venture upstairs, like me the first thing you will probably see is not couples chit chatting but making out with all the ferocity of teenagers on a first date...
