DOWNTOWN.   Sleek, shimmering, funky Sambuca is a haven for the city's elite and is a shining venue for top jazz performers (and those who master other genres). An accomplished menu is at hand, perfect for enjoying in conjunction with the sensational music. If you'd rather hang out at the bar, that's perfectly acceptable too – and comes without the time limit of a table. Best of all, the music complements both dining and conversation, never intruding on a special evening out. A cigar room offers a broad array of smokes that you can enjoy on the patio.   (© 10Best)

Had reservations and got seated right way. Took 45 minutes to get FIRST drink. Then first course came 2 minutes after that. Food was okay, nothing extraordinary and definitely not worth the price. The crowd was a little older than I expected and the band that was playing (Shape Shifters) was not what we expected at all. I will not be back.

I found the food to be bland. My pasta looked to have been sitting for awhile. My iced tea was weak. No salt and pepper at the table. No crackers or bread with the bisque without asking. Actually, Nothing on the table without asking. The wait staff was young and inexperienced. Was not prepared for the most basic Qs. Three on the wait "team". Still had to look for help. The atmosphere was very nice. The intertainment was excellent. For the price of the meal I rate this a 2 of 5
