HUNTINGTON. One of the largest museums of its kind east of the Mississippi, Huntington's Museum of Radio & Technology is home to an impressive collection of gadgets, including some of the earliest telegraphs, radios, and televisions. In addition, the facility boasts several special exhibit areas: a '50s-era radio and TV showroom; a vintage Hi-Fi room that contains sound equipment of all types; an area dedicated to military communication; and a pre-WWII-era radio shop. A gift shop and library are also open to the public.
