7. Ritter Park

SOUTHSIDE.   Set in a residential area just outside of downtown proper, Ritter Park is recognized as one of the state's top urban parks. It offers Huntington residents a peaceful place to escape from the daily grind by playing a few matches at the tennis complex, exploring the park's trail system, or catching a Huntington Outdoor Theater production at the amphitheater.
