EAST HUNTINGTON.   A Huntington standard for close to a century now, Stewart's is known far and wide for delicious root beer – an old country elixir that's won over palates across the country. From humble beginnings (the chain actually started as a roadside root beer and popcorn stand in the 1930s), the current incarnations serve up delicious hotdogs, BBQ sandwiches, and chili cheese fries in a casual setting. My mom would take us to Stewart's when we were little and we would have a hot dog and a child size mug of root beer. Stewart's is one of my best childhood memories and we still eat there today. Best hot dogs in the world!!

Stewart's is always on our To-Do list when we "come home" to WV for vacation. Their rootbeer is divine, and you can't eat just one hotdog.
