Hoping for so much more
I was looking forward to an excellent dinner following some great travel in the WV area. I was unfortunately very disappointed. The wait staff lacks talent and the night was an expensive disappointment with an impolite service provided to me and my business associate. (What kind of restaurant moves diners to a new table in the middle of a dining experience to make room for newly-arriving diners? Was I supposed to carry my used fork with me? Very odd for a supposedly high-end restaurant. Clearly this establishment does not understand basic dining etiquette.) I am likely to return to WV for future travel and I would look forward to finding much better dining experiences than can be found at this restaurant. Wish me luck!

We have enjoyed this restaurant in the past but our recent experience was so bad that we won't be back. One entree was overcooked and it couldn't be eaten, so it was sent back. We never received a new entree because the kitchen staff were "whooping" it up a the bar watching the Marshall game. A bad meal can be overlooked but the service from the kitchen staff cannot. I am still appalled.

Ala carte, but the portions are plentiful - 2 can share 1 side! Voodoo greens are terrific, desserts will make your mouth water. The fish dishes are excellent. The specials are always worth a try. We've never had any dish that wasn't top-notch! We always take our out-of-town guests here because we can consistently count on the WOW afterwards!
