US Space and Rocket Center

HUNTSVILLE. This is the world's largest space attraction, and you should plan on spending at least a day of your Huntsville visit here. Over 60 exhibits teach about the universe and space travel. Simulators let visitors experience a space shot, G-forces, and weightlessness onboard a spacecraft. The park includes NASA rockets, such as a full-size space shuttle exhibit and the Saturn V rocket. Visitors may tour the grounds of the U. S. Space Camp Training Center where kids of all ages go to experience life in the final frontier. An IMAX theater shows dramatic footage of astronauts aboard the space shuttle.
