6. Santa Gertrudis

Almost directly in the middle of the island, this peaceful town is where the local grapevine keeps residents up-to-date on what is happening. The cuisine of the town centers on tapas and bocadillos (toasted and filled bread rolls) and is available in the many bars. Home to many native artisans, there are four art galleries located in the village that display the works of locals and former Ibiza residents.
