This ancient Phoenician religious site is tucked away in the hills of Cala Sant Vincent and dates from the 4th century BC. The shrine to the goddess Tanit and the many golden shrines were discovered in the early 20th century and highlight the impressive history of this tiny island. Later, a 2,000-year-old bronze plaque dedicated to the goddess was also discovered on the site. Visitors to the area should definitely save time to tour the ancient cave shrines.
