Every Wednesday in the summer, the 1960s return to Punta Arabí right outside Es Canar. The well-known Hippie Market started as a fundraiser for a local school and has escalated to the point that buses and boats come just for this sight. It is an outlet for local craftspeople, and you can find everything from clothing, jewelry, glassware and leather, to sand pictures, fake Rolexes and pottery. Be aware that there is no clay on Ibiza, so the pottery is made elsewhere. It is crowded with locals and tourists and is a fun place to spend an afternoon.
