Ibiza, one of the Balearic Islands of Spain, is where young Europeans come to cut loose. For a change of pace, rent a car and explore the island's hidden offerings: pine tree forests, orange and lemon plantations, pueblos of white houses (casas blancas), and beautiful views of the sea and mountains. History buffs should head to the Dalt Vila, or the old part of Ibiza City, to view the Roman ruins, Ibiza Castle, and the city walls, which are classified as a National Monument.
