If you can't resist the lure of country music, definitely plan a visit to this popular country music venue that's housed in an old warehouse. You'll be surrounded by Stetsons bobbing to country tunes and cowboy boots dancing the night away. Never danced country style before? No problem. Free dance lessons are given on Friday and Saturday nights. After getting your fill of country, head to Tremors, a separate venue located at the back of the Saloon and serving up heaping helpings of DJ-spun modern rock and hip-hop.

Dim lighting, abundant cocktails, and a slightly smoky haze set the scene at this small jazz club. A diverse range of visitors frequents the establishment, and they sit back, relax, and enjoy the music that the evening has in store. Famous bands like the Rolling Stones have been known to drop in from time to time. It may be difficult to get a table, but the later you come, the better the music.

The esteemed restaurant that overlooks Indianapolis is not the only reason to head to the top of the Hyatt Regency. Elegant Eagle's Nest bar is also a wonderful place to start or end the evening with a cocktail or two. Live musical entertainment, provided Tuesday through Saturday nights, adds the perfect accent.

This popular jazz establishment welcomes with live jazz and hot Latin dance nights. The atmosphere is stylish yet relaxed with live music being the main attraction. The stage features talented acts that include local, regional and national groups. The kitchen does have a tempting menu as well, with a mix of international favorites from steak to seafood and pasta. Evening meal service is Monday through Saturday from 5pm.

Any night of the week, this is a terrific place to go for good conversation, tasty food, and excellent live entertainment. On nights when The Zero Boys or Bigger Than Elvis don't occupy the stage, everyone stays entertained by video games, large televisions, and three pool tables.

DOWNTOWN. When you're visiting Indianapolis, this place should not be missed. Located in the city's oldest standing commercial building, Slippery Noodle offers live blues music every night of the week. First-time visitors will want to check out bullets wedged in the walls of the back room, which was used as a livery stable and for target practice. Many moons ago, the tavern regularly hosted rough-and-tough, gun-bearing members of the infamous Brady and Dillinger gangs.

The unique place is an old movie theater turned dance club, so put on your dancing shoes and plan to get lost in the night when you visit.
