BROAD RIPPLE.   This grill is a local lunchtime favorite for soups, sandwiches and much more. Local polls have placed it at number one for its fresh cuisine and the upscale, yet relaxed ambience. The antipasto is impressive, as is the calamari tossed in gremolada and served with pungent caper rémoulade. My wife and I had a most wonderful New Year's Eve dinner at Midtown - after all these years, still one of the best places in the city.
