For a city its size, Iowa City has a great array of leisure activities and sightseeing options. Outdoor activities are abundant, thanks to a range of parks and nature areas. The largest, City Park, features hiking and biking trails, athletic fields, swimming, ice skating and children's rides. Nearby Coralville Park and Gazebo on the Green are also great choices. While sports fanatics give themselves over to the pageantry and history of the University of Iowa Athletics Hall of Fame, arts patrons relish live entertainment at Hancher Auditorium and at Riverside Theatre, which affords enchanting views of the Iowa River. In addition, Englert Theatre plays host to many superb touring productions.
